When I was a child in a little kid's world * My heart was the same as the one I have now * But it amazes me how much everything else has changed...

"Tuesday Spoils colourful, epic and unorthodox sound isn't all too surprising, especially since the majority of its members hadn't really played their particular instruments before joining the line-up:
- A vocalist / songwriter inspired by the genius of Paul Simon and the new age folk movement - A keys man with influences ranging from Deep Purple to Gary Numan
- Drummer Tom with thumping unconventional rhythms
- A bassist with the musical version of ADD - And a lead guitarist who likes to gig wearing crocs."

Sick of Me
How sick of me must you be by now? while you're standing just outside of what your pride will allow, always reaching into yourself to find a new way to understand me. When I'm sure that there's no one else in the world that could withstand me. Yeah, the first person in your life to ever really matter is saying the last thing that you want to hear. And you are listening hard through the splintering shards of your life as it shatters. and you're standing firm and you're staying close and you're seeing clear. I took to the stage with my outrage in the bad old days when you were the "make me mad" guy. But the songs they come out more slowly now that I am the bad guy. and I say, baby I'm sorry that I am so crazy, I am astounded by your patience. But you say "believe or not baby, the joy you bring me still outweighs it." Yeah, the first person in your life to ever really matter is saying the last thing that you want to hear. And you are listening hard through the splintering shards of your life as it shatters, and you're standing firm and you're staying close and you're seeing clear. Tell me how sick of me must you be by now?

"This great example of shipping container architecture was created by architects Pieter Peelings and Silvia Mertens of Sculp(IT). They live and work in these shipping containers which are stacked four high. The entire space is 2.4 meters wide by 5.5 meters deep by 12 meters high. The bottom floor is used for work, dining room is located on the second floor, relaxation room on the third, and spectacular rooftop views from the fourth - including a relaxing spa."

How the brain detects the emotions of others: People who are good at interpreting facial expressions have "mirror neuron" systems that are more active, say researchers. The finding adds weight to the idea that these cells are crucial to helping us figure out how others are feeling.
Mirror neurons are brain cells that fire both when you do something and when you watch someone else do the same thing.
Because they allow us to mimic what others are doing, it is thought that these neurons may be responsible for why we can feel empathy, or understand others' intentions and states of mind. People with autism, for instance, show reduced mirror neuron activity during social cognition tasks. New Scientist 12 MAY 08

I. From what I've seen, your artworks seem to be based on very personal themes. Your approach seems subtle & emotional. What inspires you to create these works?
KZ. I work with themes of isolation and escapism - I guess essentially this is inspired by living in my own little dream world, and that feeling of loneliness and the desire to be somewhere else, that a lot of people relate to. I mostly use images of children and their imaginations to depict this, and look at old photographs, film and children's books to draw inspiration. Full interview @ Indie Art & Design
